Sonnal Kakkar Interview: Zee TV’s new show ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’ is being liked very much by the audience. This show, which is being telecast from November 11 this year, is leading in the TRP list. Ayushi Khurana has appeared as the lead actress in the show, while Bharat Ahlawat is seen playing the role of lead actor. The story of ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’ has been written by Sonal Kakkar. While talking to ABP Live, Sonal talked about the storyline of the show.
Sonal Kakkar, producer and writer of ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’ told that the story of the show is based on an arranged marriage. Through his show, he has tried to show and explain the difficulties faced in such marriages. She said that she wanted to show a story which had never been shown on TV.
Story idea of ’Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’
Sonal Kakkar said- ‘When I was working on many ideas, I thought that there are many practices in our country, about which we know and sometimes we do not know about them. I wanted to tell a story that has never been told before. People know about it but it has never been shown on TV. That’s why when I researched, I came to know about the practice of betting. This meant exchange marriage.
What is Atta-Satta Marriage?
Talking about exchange marriage, Sonal says- ‘This is a concept in which there is an exchange relationship in which a brother and sister get married in the same house. When I did research, I came to know that in most of the cases, a marriage is kept as a guarantee that if the sister’s marriage goes well, only then the marriage of her brother, whose wife is his sister-in-law, will go well. If one girl’s marriage does not work out, the other will also have to suffer the consequences. So this tradition of Atta-Satta, I have kept this as the core idea in the show.
How is the story of ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’?
During this, Sonal Kakkar talked about the story of ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’. He said- ‘The lead actress of the show is Reet Chaudhary who is a self-respecting girl of today’s time. Her father is unable to prove his innocence and she becomes a reporter to bring the voice of truth to everyone. She loves her brother very much and for that sake she is ready to marry his wife’s brother. So, this show is the story of a today’s girl who goes into a controversial marriage and how she manages her home and her relationships.
